Telltale is forced to Flee his County

If you've never heard about Telltale,
he's a Youtuber I occasionally watch and focuses primarily on topics like the dangers of cults and religious indoctrination. His content is well researched due to him being raised as Jehova's Witness for most of his life before he was able to successfully escape the Jehova's Witnesses and finally gain his well deserved freedom. He is very level headed and an all-around cool guy with very interesting content.
Well, Telltale is now forced to flee both his Town and his County, perhaps even the State... he lives in the deep South of the US so, there's some of that famous southern hospitality for you...
so what happened?
well, no, Telltale isn't black and he isn't gay either so if you thought those were the reasons he had to flee for his life, i'm sorry to disappoint you
what happened was that Telltale's daughter recorded her teacher in class at her public school interrupting the class to try and indoctrinate her students about christianity, with the teacher saying such charming, wonderful things that she doesn't believe in same sex marriage, that gay people burn in hell, yadda yadda yadda, all the lovely and charming stuff that fundamentalist evangelical christians like to sprout. I'm sure all of you are, like me, familiar about that.
that being said, while extremely douchy, if those are the teachers personal beliefs and opinions, then so be it. the issue of the matter was however, that she was essentially preaching these things to her students in her class, knowing full well that she is legally breaking the law by doing so and even going so far as mentioning that too.
Telltale made a video about that sort of thing, how this kind of preaching is wrong to do at a public school and doesn't belong there, a sentiment i whole heartedly agree with
however, following this, the town that Telltale lives in has quite literally turned against him... the deep south showing its ugly true face once again.
I don't want to make this journal longer than it needs to be and link Telltale's video he made about this below, so you can check that out for further details but long story short:
the town created a FaceBook group (which was now removed) with about half the town joining in and leveling threats against Telltale and his family. Telltale was doxed, he had people drive by his house at all times making pictures of the house, on the FaceBook page itself threats were raised to kidnap Telltale's daughter as well as to burn down Telltale's house with Telltale still inside it.
Police has been informed but this is the deep south were are talking about so its unlikely that they are on Telltale's side and he very much expresses the same thing in the video he made.
the long and short is that because of these massive threats levelled against Telltale and his family, he has no choice but to leave both the town and county, possibly even the state.
its pretty fucked up... but I suppose that is the deep south for you...

However I'll mention a little true story, I have a little sister who attends this elementary school and such. And the teacher was doing something similar but not on religion but on the whole Black Lives Matter left wing woke crud stuff. She mentioned that when one kid raised his hand to mention shouldn't every life be mattered the teacher silenced the kid and the kid got in trouble.
But nothing happened to that teacher kid got in trouble and teacher was well let off scott clean.
Moral point, people now and days use their positions of power to force their agendas on others and its gotten to the point that its being allowed to be forced onto little kids' throats at School. These days it doesnt matter if it's left right religion woke whatever. Its happening everywhere in the deep south all the way to the far North. It's what happens when you give a fanatic too much power in their position.
The idea of the southern part of the USA being this overly racist, clearly biased for religious preaching is just not true for the overwhelming majority of the southern states. That might've been true fifty years ago, but it's just *not* anymore.
I'm sorry that these events do not fit into your personal world view but unfortunately, that doesn't make these happenings any less true.
i would encourage you to watch the video that i linked if you haven't already and to do your own research on the subject.
Again, show proof or I don't believe you. It's not being disrespectful. Like the old russian proverb, 'Trust but verify.'
i do have to ask though, what mannerisms would you consider to be more appropriate for a video?
as for proof, so far we have, of course, Telltale himself with two videos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDBXwT5LJjo&t=
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQ47NekaacE
then there is also Suris who talks about the subject:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TuaBci-9eo
and an article on friendlyatheist. com

I'm sorry that you don't find these arguments to be very convincing.
of course, your only counter argument thus far can essentially be summarized as you crying "fake news" so, in all fairness, you haven't exactly been very convincing in your arguments either.
i cannot present you with the evidence you are asking for because I'm not Telltale. I'm me my options for verification are limited. all i can do is tell you that I have been following both Telltale and Suris for quite some time and I have no reason to believe that either of them would lie about something as serious as this.
if that does not convince you, again, i urge you to do your own research. both of them are youtubers and they should not be to hard to get in contact with if you have questions. like whether or not these claims are true.
if you still choose not to believe that these events are real, well... while such a display of ignorance is disheartening, i am ultimately not going to lose any sleep over it.
Yeah, remember the saying... Your rights end where my began? If those guys did try to act funny in his lawn then he has to be damn sure he could teach them a lesson.
Though, I must say deep repubs and superblue Dems are the wackiest of wackos.
you don't decide to just very quickly leave town and deal with the trouble of moving somewhere else and everything involved in the process if it had been just one or two wackos who would have send him threatening letters :-/
the USA never ceases to depress me.
Naw Fam... BACK TO THE CRUSADES
Keep telling yourself anything that makes you feel better about yourself. I understand how intoxicating it feels to believe you're a master.
In reality you'll always remain a slave.
What I DON'T believe in, is someone telling someone else that what they believe in is wrong.
So, while I am an advocate of faith, I think that organized religion is bullshit. These people are definitely scum.
I hope Telltale remains safe and hope he hops back from this, and better.
Living well, is the best revenge.
