Once upon a time...
My previous journal. I think we've reached the point where a cop could kill a baby in a crib and people would say the cop was justified.
No matter how young, I think a cop could easily murder someone in this country and any and all people protesting it would be met with "why didn't they obey orders" even if it was obvious that the orders were contradictory. Any and all points about racism would be dismissed out of hand.

"You may make mistakes and innocent persons may be shot but that cannot be helped and you are bound to get the right parties some time. The more you shoot, the better I will like you, and I assure you no policeman will get into trouble for shooting any man." ~ Gerald Smyth
it shouldn't have to fall on the oppressed to try to fix things
oppressors will never fix things, if left up to them: in the first place, it takes someone with some form of mental defect, to act on the desire to subjugate other human beings
to justify it
to ignore the cries and pleas of those (of us) who are hurting
one of my over-arching problems now, is, this evil has dug its claws into so many facets and aspects, i wouldn't know where to even begin.
i get rid of one patch of foul weeds?
5 more sproutlings, seeing an opportunity presented, naturally will come on in to take the previous sublettee's place
