Everyone hates on it cause it's not like the books but I treat it as and AU of Spirou, Marvel dose it with their books and movies so can Spirou. The cartoon has a lot of potential if effort was put into it.

Not to mention it's gone through many artists and tone changes and noncanon one shot stories over the years. It's probs one of the few non-US comics that are like that unless you count revivals of older anime and manga.
