Ok, so who's ready for a health update?
I went in for the operation last Wednesday. It was to be at 12:00.
Everything was coming along fine. They had to sedate me first as I was a lil overly anxious.
So I get wheeled in, and well passed out.
What I learned afterwards was what should have been only 90 minutes, laptopic? [spelling no idea]
Ended up taking 5 1/2 hours.
They made another incision, and had to widen the one they were pulling stuff out from.
And let me tell you, the pain I've been feeling the past week has be Intense! I dare say, worse than those hella cramps I was having.
But these are Healing pains. I can deal with that!
So anyways, my uberus uterus had to be a pain in the everywhere till the very end.
My Dr came in the next day and she's like "You really made me work for it didn't you?" My response? "Yup, all part of my evil plan."
So for the next two weeks I'm suppose to be bedridden. I....mostly am. I had to go out this past Sunday to get my second shot. [Yay! I am vaccinated!]
So anyway, my Dr gave me some heavy duty pain meds. She explained that a hysterectomy is considered one of the most painful operations, and more so for the recovery.
So to all women who has had one, and have felt the pains, I understand now. And holy Effin Hell! shit HURTS!
To all the women who felt no pain or discomfort after waking from the operation? You're very lucky. I wouldn't wish this pain on most anyone. [there might be one or two people]
Coughing hurts like all bloody hell. The main part where they took it all out, is now sunken in, and hard, kinda feels like a shelf o.O weeeeird.
Everything I've done thus far...concerning body functions, have felt Really weird. Just....like...i can tell something is empty in there.
They wanted to know if I was gonna need some counseling afterwards. Because some women feel less of a woman when becoming officially barren.
[Thanks society, for making women feel like less of a woman for not baring children. ]
Anyways...I'm rambly. Most likely due to the meds. I'm still bedridden. but so happy this is done.
I am not anemic anymore as well ^_^ i just get through the next week, but then i gotta wait the next 2 months before going back to work.
But I think now, I can actually Work without much issues ^_^ so Yay!
Ok the short end is...ripped out evil uberus uterus and all it's minions. in lots of weird pain, but on the road to recovery.
Sorry for being all over the place there.
