As the commissioners on my queue have no doubt noticed, my communication and productivity as of late has been abysmal. There’s plenty of reason for that; stress, anxiety, family stuff, but most of all a lack of personal responsibility. All that said, I’m not here to give excuses like I’ve done in the past. I’m here to impart to you that soon I will be coming into some money, with which I will be contacting customers on my queue individually and offering refunds. I will not be taking any new commissions until this process is finished, save for work from friends, and I will be taking a couple months hiatus once everything is taken care of.

I don’t plan on disappearing or closing permanently. Clearly, though, I’m in no position to be doing commissions full time. I will instead be limiting myself to 2-3 slots a month maximum and will be narrowing my commission options to Full Colour only. Along with this, I’ll be getting a proper job away from art to better supplement my income. With these adjustments, I aim to refocus my art career so that I can do more personal projects rather than focusing so heavily on commissions and so my income is more stable.

I’ll reiterate, I don’t expect to be absolved of my behaviour and I’m not making this announcement in an attempt to beg forgiveness. I simply want it to be known that I’m going to fix it and be better.
