Hi there,
I've been approached by a small comics publisher based in Poland, who believes there is a market for "Rudek i Niedźwiedź" and has proposed collaborating on a campaign to print volume one's Polish translation in Poland, by funding it on the Polish crowdfunding site Wspieram.to.

But you're right in that regard - make absolutely sure to retain your rights.
If this cooperation doesn't work I'd look somewhere else, maybe at other small publishers.
