Question on prices
I have a question for those interested, I've sent this through twitter but I'll send it here as well
If I were to ask, how much would you pay or what range would you pay for my type of art? Just interested to know your thoughts

Around 40-60 is usually what 'big, with a toony edge' goes for these days but if you don't feel comfortable charging that much right out of the gate then that's fine. More people will be quietly grateful for a budget option than will hypocritically insist that 'you don't value yourself enough' while trying to undermine your decisions and turn you into an inaccessible commodity for their benefit.
If you can't get anyone biting at a price that makes it worth it for you, you should check another market, or just do this for fun. I, for instance, have at no point been so skilled that I could've asked for a price that I could live on reasonably, or that'd be better than some average wage job.
Sometimes sticking with it as a hobby, or just testing a different market, is better than stretching yourself for one where you can't flourish. I DO think you're good enough to make some decent cash with this, so don't feel discouraged, just keep in mind that balance.
Either way, don't let people shaft you, it's never worth it. So while I'm interested in a May slot, if you end up needing a price I can't meet, we walk away with no hard feelings, and anyone who gives you more drama than that isn't worth your time.
Oh, and remember to factor in how many rounds of feedback and adjustments you're willing to do, can't "fix one last little thing" forever.
Source? I weirdly do manage well as a freelance artist, just not anything like this.
