How long have you been in the community?

10 years -blink-

How did you find furry?

I found it slowly. It started with StH when I was a kid, then I finally came up with what would later become Qa'a in Y2K.

What's your reason for furry (what interested you to get into the community)?

Mostly the typical stuff, fascination with the possibilty of animals walking upright and talking.

What's Furry to you?

Folks who appreciate/are fascinated by anthropomorphic figures. [I didn't change this one, Jen. I wouldn't've come up with anything better.]

If someone found out you're a furry and asked you about it how would you respond?

I would try to explain it as best I could, since I'm pretty terrible with such things. If that sexual question was asked, I'd simply say, "The few ruin it for the many."


What are your favorite aspects of our community?

Overall friendliness, really.

Do you use any furry terms? (i.e. yiff, paws, murr?)

Nuzzle and purr, I think that's about it. Maybe paws every once and again.

What do you wish furry was NOT associated with?

Beastiality, easily.

How strongly do you feel about someone bashing the community as a whole?

It's just like someone bashing any other community, be it your gun-toting folks or your bible-thumpers or what not. So, I just try to curb the attention away from the bashing.

How strongly do you feel about anyone bashing you yourself for your interest based on the media's aspect of what furry is?

I know better than that about most furries, to include myself, so they're skewed and media-biased opinion are of no matter to me.

We all know furries have a lot of sexual aspects in this fandom, What's your opinion on it?

There are a lot of them, yes, and I'll admit, Qa'a's a machine when it comes to the sexual aspects in the form of artwork. Other than that, I say folks have their own things that they enjoy, so be it.

What is/are your fursona(s)?

Qa'a, a Bengal Tiger.

Do you have any fetishes that pertain to the fandom?

Nein.

If you could magically morph into your fursona would you?

It'd be pretty cool, but I wouldn't want to deal with Qa'a's knee braces too often. I ain't at that point yet.

Do you believe you have a spirit animal? If Yes, Is that spirit animal your fursona(if not what is it?)

I don't think so, no.

What other fanbases/groups are you a part of?

I'm a Columbus Blue Jackets fan, if you're talking about such things. I'm a militaria sort, too.

Uh, anthro, I guess.

Are you a fursuiter? If yes, How many do you own? If No, do you ever plan on being a suiter?

I do have a partial, but I've not worn it much for the infernal heat factor that  fluffball mentioned. My body kinda doesn't work at or above 85°...

How many of your friends are furry?

Several, but I don't have an exact number.

How many pets do you own, if any?

My last pet in a ownership sense was put down in May, so zero now.

Aside from furry what other interests do you have?

Hockey, football (both kinds), guns, history, and of course one cannot forget the almighty FOOD!

Are you confident enough in yourself to say that you're a fur, no matter what the media says?

Yeah, why not? Seems as if the media is slowly coming 'round as they continue to learn about the community.


Meetups

Do you attend any cons? If no, would you attend any cons? If yes, which cons have you been to?

I've been to two consecutive Anthrocons ('08 and '09), but nothing more.

Do you go to local meetups (bowling, public outings...etc)?

Well, with John, Garrett, Steffen and myself going somewhere, I guess that counts, so yeah.

Have you ever attended a furry party? If no, would you attend one?

I'mma be holdin' one for when I return to Columbus, methinks.

Have you ever met up with a fur you talked to online?

I have. AC 09, I met up with an entire crew from Furry-Within.

What furry websites do you attend?

FA, FAD, Furbuy. F-W, and I think that's about it.

What non furry websites do you frequent?

Anything one can think of. Except porn, that is, I'm not a porn watcher (I'll look once in a blue moon.)

Has the fandom done anything for you that you're thankful for? Has it taught you anything or brought you anything you treasure greatly?

Aside from getting me out of shitty work events and helping me to meet some awesomely cool folks, I guess not. But I'm not one to take things for granted. What I mentioned is enough.
