Well, any hope for my stepdad vanished last night when he was taken to the ER because of high fever from possibly an infection. While I wasn't given any details, all I do know is that the news wasn't good...and the only thing left was to take my stepdad home and prepare for home hospice care for his remaining time on earth. So, unfortunately, my stepdad was right...he more than likely will not live to see his next birthday next month.
Along with that, one of my managers evidently had a nervous/mental breakdown at a police station responding to a police report put out on her by her no-good husband and his deadbeat drug addict son (which were based off mis-/disinformation). So, between work and home...things are falling apart rapidly and I don't know how much more I can take or how long I can hold on before something gives. I am trying...but the harder I try, the worse things seem to get.
