Hi all,


I am cancelling the 2020-2021 Commissions queue, effective immediately.

This is a very difficult decision for me to make, both personally and financially. The queue that I had lined up was chock-a-block full of fantastic pieces that I was looking forward to help bring to life. Unfortunately, the quality of my art has really suffered to such a degree that I was uncomfortable with accepting payment for it when I know I couldn't do the ideas the justice they deserve. The combination of the past year and some very complex ongoing personal issues have really dealt a blow to my creative drive and capacity to create. I need to take time for myself to recover.

This by no means is a notice to say I'm not drawing, just that my focus is going to be on producing art for myself. I am focused on my own recovery and maintenance. The good news is that though certain things remain turbulent, I am in a much better place than this time last year!

I want to thank everyone on my queue for their patience, it means the world to me. Hopefully I will have the chance to work with you again in the future. At this stage, I can't say when that would be, but I remain optimistic!

I also want to thank all my mutuals on my various social media accounts, I know I have been more ghost than anything else but it's the little interactions that keep me going. Seeing everyone's worlds and creations and experiments and fun little doodles really helps keep my own artistic spark lit. I am looking forward to trying to revive that creativity and if this means experimenting with style or returning to old favourites, so be it!

If anyone else is reading this and feeling like they need to take time to themselves as well, please know that you are strong enough to make this decision for your own wellbeing.
