Slash is a unique creature, born from the mix of a Joltean (a superpowered extraterrestrial species) and a grey wolf. At 55 Earth years old, he has taken up the role of mission commander for Tyrannus and Jasmine (Markham's colleagues) on the planet Hakai. He was once part of a Jolt experiment, where wolf genes were spliced with that of a Jolt's, but the experiment was ultimately shut down afterward due to concerns of potential danger as well as ethics.

Slash's journey hasn't been without challenges, however. He suffered an injury during an alien invasion that resulted in the need for an eye patch. Despite this setback, Slash remains a kind, sensual, and empathetic individual, always understanding of those around him. Plus, he wears a khaki color bandana around his, blue sweater with pockets, and grey sweatpants. Gun on his back as well as a bullet strap over the right shoulder and around his torso.

One of Slash's unique abilities is his capacity to sense individuals from any location at any time (via that diamond looking thing on his forehead). He has a heightened sense of smell (albeit, better than Markham's), enhanced stamina, and impressive speed making him able to run at 45 miles per hour (the longest he can last running is 3 hours max).
