Journals exist, don't they?

Jeez, life's been wild lately.
I start a new job on Monday after leaving a job I never thought I'd ever want to leave. But the new offer came in and I absolutely had to take it. What a dream opportunity it is. I can't say much about it on here though.
Otherwise, I've been trying to keep up with art stuff. I find it hard to find the motivation to actually have an art queue, so I've been just opening for a slot or two when I feel the motivation strike, and closing again. No more permanently-open commissions for me. And I am really grateful to have friends that are super understanding about that. I do have fun with it, but I know I tend to take on too much then get a bit overwhelmed, so this method has been making things a LOT easier on the head, and a lot more fun to do.
I sometimes wish I had more time to actually practice my art and try new things but I'm always afraid of failure, and tend to be too hard on myself. I want to develop an actual style that I love drawing in, but I'm not sure how to start on that at all, and I'm afraid it won't get anywhere.
Hopefully I'll move past the anxieties and actually make something I like out of it.
If anyone is ever up for some experimental doodles with their characters, let me know. Anything experimental will be a freebie of course, unless you love it and want to send a tip my way. But it'll just be for funsies.

You might not remember me, but you did this piece https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18772608/ for me like half a decade ago! That was the start of my furry adventure! I've made a good few new characters since then, but I've also held onto that owl the whole time! Thanks again for your amazing generosity with that!
You're welcome to draw any of my characters if you'd like (my stuff is all in my favs), but either way, it's great to see that you're doing well after so many years! You most certainly deserve it!
Thanks for saying hello, really nice hearing from you! I hope you're doing well too, and thank you for the well wishes!
I'm also doing well, thank you! I finished college, got a good enough job, and furry stuff is basically my main pastime. I don't think I ever did give you a tip for that headshot (broke college student at that time), so hook me up with your PayPal or Steam if you want a game and I'll be glad to give you a (very, very belated) tip!
Yeah, I took quite the long break. I had a really busy year of school followed by a really busy job, and a lot of life things changed. Moved two or three times in that span of time, and had a lot going on. Life's a lot more stable now so I'm really hoping I can dedicate a bit more time to practicing some art stuff.
my lioness Kimani is always up for experiments too :p
Yup, as said before, congrats on the job. It's somethin' you like doing, so it should be natural once you get in the groove. :D
