Hello there!
Thinking you might be interested in getting some custom art from me? Here is some quick information about me, and how I operate my commissions and art queue!
Do you fill Commissions in Order?
Mostly, yes. If someone has requested a commission slot but has not paid, they will be skipped in favor of the next person in queue who has paid.
How long will my commission take?
I actively track my progress on my Art Queue, which can be found both on My Profile and Commission Page. Each artwork takes me about 1-3 days, depending on health. The length of wait time depends on how many people are in queue.
Do you focus EXCLUSIVELY on Commissions?
No. My ability to focus is not reliable, and I can't often stick exclusively to one project. Usually I work on 1 commission/paid project and 1 personal project at the same time, giving priority to the commission and setting completion goals for it each day.
Why are there no Due Dates for Completion?
Lately my health has been super wonky. Vision issues, in addition to my usual Fun Bag of illnesses, can, at times, cost me days of progress. Other times, I am able to devote huge amounts of time to art. That's why sometimes I post something every day, and other times there days of inactivity. I get extremely anxious posting due dates, as though I am tempting fate to hit me with something awful before the date I select x3;; SO, I avoid all that by keeping active track of my progress in my Profile.
When do you Work on Commissions // Take Time Off?
Art is a large part of my income, so (health permitting) I try to make a certain amount of progress every day. At times, health issues slow me down. I do take Fridays and Saturdays off however, as that's usually when I do errands and grocery shopping, which demands all of my spoons. I usually still end up working on art anyway, just not so productively.
What does your (Custom) Art Progress look like?
Design ---> [Client Review] --->Flat Colors ---> Shading/Detailing ---> Finishing Touches ---> [Client Review] ---> Completion!
