I joined FA sometime last year I think, that's pretty much the extent of it. I like Glamfur art a lot... I liked it before I knew what it was, I think. I dunno :V

*What's your reason for furry (what interested you to get into the community)?
Other peoples' artwork. I don't have much interest the whole thing, like, if the same artists that draw really nice anthro work drew humans instead I probably wouldn't be around here much. But anthro characters are fun to throw into the mix sometime-- not because I find them attractive though DDDD8 but more because they... well they work differently and messing around with different anatomical structures and designs can be fun.

It seems pretty tightly-knit, like most people know other people (I realise that's a for better or for worse situation but I'm mentioning it in terms of a friendly thing). It's pretty nice I think, and most people that I've talked to have seemed pretty inviting.

I dunno, I don't associate it with much-- if nastyass things crop up thanks to some individual or another then I associate it with that particular individual, not the community as a whole. I guess I wish that when I say I'm a member of Furaffinity people would... cease to assume that I dress up like a cartoon animal and have raunchy, would-be bestiality sexytiems?
*How strongly do you feel about someone bashing the community as a whole?
Well even if you're a furry you have to admit that it must come off as kind of weird to other people... so you have to expect that someone is going to go batshit crazy about it.
*How strongly do you feel about anyone bashing you yourself for your interest based on the media's aspect of what furry is?
They can if they want but it doesn't really apply to me so lol
*We all know furries have a lot of sexual aspects in this fandom, What's your opinion on it?
uhhh even just looking at the submission categories on this website makes me laugh pretty hard. I dunno... I feel like a lot of the sexual aspects are also prevalent in other subcultures but because this particular community is centred around animals, it's shown in a much more derogatory light? I dunno, people seem to talk about OMG CUB ART a lot but then I see the same people being all lololol shota is p sweet
but then I also see people who don't subscribe to any of the gross stuff! Which is awesome to me. I dunno I guess if I just see anthro characters doin it it's just as weird as someone shoving hentai in my face. Neither of those things appeal to me much.

no, but I actually don't find the concept all that bizarre. Assuming that "spirit animal" means something different than "fursona". I dunno, that's really not as weird to me as a fucktonne of other stuff people in this fandom do hahaaaa

It all depends on the character and how well the artist executed it :/? I guess I would be able to connect more with anthro or kemonomimi characters simply because I relate to humanoid subject more than feral subjects. But honestly it does depend on the artist and their rendition of the character.
I don't have any actual anthro characters of my own though.

I first joined deviantArt because I saw Arphalia's artwork on the front page a long time ago. She still inspires me to this day with her soft and gentle colour palettes and lithe, delicate characters. I dunno though, I haven't been able to meet a whole lot of people yet! I'm very much on the outskirts of the community. Although I have no desire to fully immerse myself in FURTHUITING or YIFFING or TAKING ANY GENERAL INTEREST IN ANIMALS OR CHILDREN OR PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING GOOD/BAD RELATING TO THE FURRY FANDOM, I like a lot of the people I've met so far and would love to stick around and see if I can be... what would you call it?
