Forced break.

So, I know not a whole lot of people know a lot about computers, so I will try to keep this as simple as possible.
My PC boots from a M2 SSD. They are actually pretty cool and usefull to install Windows on. Makes our PC boot a lot faster then any old Hard Drive.
Mine however, has been acting up for a while. I had it under controll. A crash every once in a while but nothing major. But apperently it fi ally died. Or at least my motherboard can't find it anymore and I can't boot Windows.
Here's my solution: I have two other Hard Drives. Another normal HDD and an SSD. The SSD is already full so I can't put Windows onto it. So I have to use the slower HDD to install Windows again.
This is only a temporary solution. I only do this so I can at least play videogames with my friends.
I want to buy another SSD for Windows so my PC will be up and running again as it was befor. But until then I don't want to install Photoshop. It takes too long and I will lose my data anyways once I install my new SSD which I want to buy in about 2 weeks.
Until then -> No photoshop. Which means no more drawings until then.
I am sorry. But I only want to continue my work, once I am sure my PC is finally back at full capacity.
SSDs are expencive and I don't want to use up my last savings for this month. Because I know something will bite me in the ass otherwise. You know how it works. You spend your last money, knowing that you don't have to spent any more this month and then BAM! Some letter in the mail that orders you to pay a bill that is like, 50 bucks, which you didn't expect.
Again, I am terrible sorry, but re-installing programms is a pain that I don't want to endure more then two times in a single month.
I hope you understand.
Love, Anekari.

Ideally only things that actually substantially benefit from the higher read times should be there, such as the OS (or backup OS), or big games with long loading times.
Images and other such multimedia files should ideally be stored on the HDD so they don't take up precious SDD space, they don't benefit nearly as much from the faster read times. HDDs with large capacity (>= 2TB) are super cheap in comparison to SSDs, and are great to have in a hybrid setup.
Either way, I'm sorry to hear about the computer trouble. Hopefully you manage to get a hold of the new M2 drive sooner rather than later.
M2 SSD: Windows
SSD: Games
HDD: pics and other random stuff
Which is why I want a new SSD just for windows.
I try to manage my SSD space so there's a good portion of unused memory. A decent number of my games (e.g. Hollow Knight) are on my HDD since the performance difference isn't very large (versus stuff like DOOT or Half-Life:
3Alyx).But no worries, take your time that we'll wait :3
