Well that's one shot down, just one more to go! I even got that neato card! No I won't share it cus I know some people are stupid and will do things they shouldn't, but I am good to go so far!

Don't listen to him. Bunch of Covidiots who are spreading conspiracy theories online like it makes you 'shed' cells or makes women unable to get pregnant. Stupid shit to scare people away from the vaccine. They're the same ones who said COVID was a Chinese hoax and other nonsense.

I figured it was some nonsense knowing them. Hence my "wat?" reaction.

My "wat?" is why does the vaccine require 2 shots? H1N1 didn't require anything...

It's a bit like a tetanus booster: the first shot creates some immune response, but not enough to provide immunity in most people. The follow-up triggers the response from the first shot, creating much stronger and longer lasting protection. It's the same reason why it can take two or even three shots to develop initial resistance against things like hepatitis.

How dare you assume my gender! (playing broken logic back to you) But in all seriousness, it's good to be cautious with anything new.

Fair, just been seeing a lot of conspiracy theories spreading like the Bill Gates microchip thing along with these sorts of stories. The mRNA has been getting looked into since shortly after 2002 after the anthrax scare so it really isn't THAT new. Just first time being done on this mass a scale. The J&J vaccine though is the old school vaccine method commonly used with things like the flu shot. So if you are nervous about the mRNA method used in Moderna or Pfizer, that is still a good option to use.
