Devotional n*02: Faith with action!

"The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing."(Psalm 23:1)

"9 The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.”
10 “What should we do then?” the crowd asked.
11 John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.”

It's important to have faith, believing that Jesus Christ is our savior that died in the cross for our sins! That is rather easy to accept for most people. Problem is: a faith WITHOUT ANY ACTION, might as well be DEAD. I know that is harsh but... Have you ever wondered why the world looks so grim and most people fear the worse? Well, ONLY WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
So remember, if you are in a position to help someone even if it is a couple of coins, DO IT!
If you can do voluntary work even if that is just taking care of kids, changing pampers on the church nursery or serving soup... DO IT!
Just BE CAREFUL. Some protestants like me: the ones with preterist partial belief, don't believe in "fake prophets" or the "anti-Christ"... That is non-sense really, but keep in mind:
"Always think twice on anything you endorse."
I mean anything. I sadly live in a country where I have seen far too many times NGOs, who claim and might do GOOD, just pocket the money and cause far more harm.
Wanna examples? Well... PeTA, Autism Speaks are two examples that come to mind. Sometimes we can't embrace the world, be we still can change someone's life!
