I've been told that the Moderna one is the roughest one. This is the one that I got. The second dose was rougher on me.

I recommend people to take the day off after taking the shot, if possible, and drink plenty of water. Avoid unnecessary physical activity. Unlike an ailment, you'll have time to restock on groceries and get somewhat comfortable. You'll be back to full power in a couple of days.

I will. I already called my job to let them know I won't be able to come to work. Hopefully I'll start feeling better later today.

I don't know. My mom and grandma took the shoot and they felt well after that. Maybe I got a different type of vaccine.

i got my 1st shot today to i got the pfizer one i stayed for 20 minutes no issue's just got home still no issue's i'm happy to have finally started getting back to my sense of normalcy

First shot for me is later this afternoon. Hoping it's relatively smooth, though thankfully if not, I've got the weekend to recuperate.

I just woke up and I'm feeling 100% better. It seems it's more or less a 24 hour thing. Fear not, for fear is the mind-killer.

yeah those side effects are common. had a similar one myself. they go away after a day or two.

Thanks! I'm already feeling way better. It's true what they say, you only need a 24 hour rest and you're good to go. I'll wait two more days until I do any more heavy lifting just in case, though.

Good to hear. After I got mine it die reduce my arm's mobility for a day due to the swelling but it went away after a day. my 2nd jab gave me a headache ontop of it but after 2 days you should be fine.

Good for you. Had the AstraZeneca shot and I'm scheduled for the second one in August. Best thing I did to recover was rest, sleep (with the help of 2 Tylenols every four hours not exceeding six a day), and lots of water. Arm was a bit sore for about 4 days but I was able to return to work the second day after the shot.

No one is forcing people to be vaccinated but deadly diseases like polio, tuberculosis, mumps, chicken pox, and the measles were almost eradicated until some people started spouting unvalidated bs trying to tie up a vaccine shot to an unrelated disease. Because of that, we've had a resurgence of diseases that should have only been seen in a laboratory instead of running wild.

Those not wanting to be vaccinated are free not to do so but then they should stay away from the rest of us or else wear masks so that they don't catch the disease and spread it because they didn't stay home.

Definitely the best way to recover. And you have a legit reason to take time off from work. I took half of the day off and the following day, all paid as sick leave. ^^
