Let's talk about E3
So, what are you guys wanting to see on this E3?
What are some games you are very hyped for?
Any predictions you'd make?
I personally only want to see something new about the sequel of Breath of The Wild (AKA the best game ever)
Oh, and something about Metroid, that'd be so cool.
Oh, now that we are talking about things we want to see...
Why is people so hyped up for a "Switch pro"?
I really don't get why is everyone apparently wanting that. I mean yeah, I know the switch is not precisely a powerful hardware, but the main selling point of it, its the hybird characteristics. If you make a portable machine display video at 4K... the price of that thing will be EXPENSIVE.
Soo... I don't know why everyone is hyped up for it.
Well, leave your comments and such.

But, well, Sony are putting the games that no longer sell copies on steam, so.
And well, the switch pro exisits, but it's far from what people imagines.
Metro Exodus would be incredible on switch. I really like those games a lot. But I am not sure how viable it would be, given how that game made all the consoles and computer yell out for help when it came out, so.
Also, don't buy a laptop. Those things are awful. I had one and it was a piece of junk, even if it was brand new
Rumors say it would run games at 4k, but that's just stupid. 4k screens are very expensive, and now a graphics card and processor powerful enough to display video at 4k is even more expensive.
I don't care if the framerate is high, but if its consistent.
But unlike a certain game that takes place in 2077, in a cyberpunk world... Metroid games only come out when they are FINISHED and perfected.
The launch of a new Metroid game is far from something you see every year.
The idea behind it is that the games are still running at lower resolution, but super smart image interpretation upscales everything so well that it looks as good, if not better, than if the game was running at that resolution natively, with very little extra hardware power needed.
It is not just theoretical either. It is working tech. It has a lot of different applications. Not only can it make 900p or 1080p gameplay look like super sharp 4k, much better than standard upscalers can, but it could also be used to render a game at 720p, but super smooth framerate, and display as super crisp 1080p or higher. It could even be used on hardware that can already run games at 4k, to help them run at much higher framerates. Software needs to be designed with it in mind though. It is not just fancy post-processing.
It is super cool.
No one thinks, if it exists, that it will be sold for more than $400. It is supposed to replace the current base model as the new standard Switch, with more capable tech to make 3rd party porting much easier, plus a higher quality screen, ethernet built into the dock, a better kickstand, etc.
It is not even confirmed real yet, but I would pay $400 for a better Switch Right now. ... even though I just spent $300 on an X-Box Series S. (I managed to find one at a local Target).
The standard switch, you're lucky if you get one at 400 dollars. Most of the time it's at 500/600 dollars.
That new switch will just way more expensive. And really, i don't need 4k.
As long as its not 360p or such, i am fine.
However, with Sony and Microsoft pushing hardware further, and 3rd party developers making games with those higher specs in mind, the Switch will not continue to get ports and original games as much any more if they don't give developers a little more power to work with.
Sad, but true.
Still, I doubt many, if any Switch games in the near future will be "Pro" exclusive. If one can get a normal Switch or a Switch Lite, they should be just fine for a while, even if the games don't quite run as well.
As for the Switch pro? While I see Nintendo MAYBE doing a revision of the Switch down the road, I don't see them jumping on the 4k bandwagon anytime soon nor do I think the rumors of a "Switch Pro" are legitimate.
