I've never thought about showing off my pride, identity, or sexuality before. I never had a problem with revealing it, nor was I ever afraid to tell anyone. I think it was just me sitting around waiting for a reason to open up or show it off. Wait for someone to ask for it. Be polite and to try not being the center of attention.
After listening to others' struggles and stories with how they came to know who they are, I realized that showing off my pride wasn't just about for me. It was for others too. Showing off your own pride can support others, encourage them to come out of their shells too. It may not be likely and we may not know it, but it could help someone out there be more proud of themselves. So even if Pride isn't that important to some, try showing it off anyways because it is special and helpful to others.

That's why I decided to do participate more this June and show off my own Pride with a few pieces of art I commissioned. They're a bit.....mature and embarrassing, so don't expect me to be this confident when I post them. I'll probably be extremely embarrassed and nervous.
