The trade you had with X4 about 7 years ago had a pretty heavy influence to his look and why he exsists as a character in our game. The DM of our pathfinder game needed an image of a rat character to stand in as my rat-taur's long lost best friend for a plot thing. There really wasn't one and didn't have time to commission something prior to that session so ended up using that pictuer.. Afterwards we all kinda super fell hard for him, and Min did some re-designing so it wasn't exactly that character, but many of the design elements and colors kinda stuck.

I finally noticed the similarity with the latest inflation pics you got there. It was the hairstyle with the cute rounded eyes. Not that I would have guessed any of that. It's just that, man, I really need to draw Ash and Starbone again. xD
In case you were ever worried about Irvin's hair color being the same as Ash's: Don't be. Ash's dyes his bangs a different color frequently, the very last pic I drew of him, his bangs were blue.
Anyways, I'm happy you've made something out of it, and it turned out great. xD

Yeah, of all my rats I think he is currently my favorite, with my taur a close second.
