For a while now I've been aware of the fact that not everyone is able to view .webm videos on their devices, but since e6 only allows .webm videos I didn't figure there was much I could do. I'm sure there were some clunky solutions that might have worked but I didn't like the sound of any of them. I just wanted a gallery I could easily toss animations into and call it a day. Then I remembered that for a time I was uploading animations to another site, FurryNetwork, and wondered if it could accept non-webm files, and it looks like it can! So I quickly went through my videos and converted whatever I could immediately find into .mp4 versions and tossed them up here.

You may have to make an account to view them, I'm not sure. To make looping animations loop you may have to right click the video and manually enable looping, unlike e6 which seems to just do it by default.
If you've already been able to see my animations then there's nothing new for you here, but for those of you who have been unable to view my animations, please let me know if this works! If it does I'll make sure to upload an mp4 version of all new animations here going forward so that everyone can see what I'm doing.
If it doesn't... I guess I'll just be sad. D:
EDIT: Added some thumbnails... some of them are wrong because of mistakes while uploading, and now it won't let me change the thumbnail for some reason. It'll upload the new thumb just fine and then just pop pack to the old one when I hit save, so *shrug*

Historically speaking, Flash has been one of the absolute worst sources of vulnerabilities imaginable. If you want a list of known exploits, refer to mitre's CVE database.

Lastly, the security issues are so bad, even Microsoft is releasing an update that removes it from Windows. https://blogs.windows.com/msedgedev.....h-end-support/
There are so many issues with flash that I can't explain them one by one, and that would be a complete waste of time. But just know that it is singlehandedly been plaguing the cybersecurity industry for over a decade.
I'm genuinely glad it is no longer getting patches or support of any kind, and webms are replacing flash for animated web content.
If only we could get FurAffinity to join the 21st century and allow .webm here, folks wouldn't need to post links to external sites so we can see the animation :P
