It probably takes a few days for me, averaged out. But it can drag on longer.
It's trickiest when the comment is just plain nice and complimentary - no snark, no jokes - just sugary niceness - like, don't get me wrong, I appreciate that, but how are ya supposed to respond to it? Right?
