What's the point?

The novelty of a gaming PC has completely worn out. I rarely use it these days, much less play the games I paid for on Steam!
This really goes to show that having money cannot buy you happiness (with the exception of Minecraft but that's not the point), and that short-term benefits never works out.
In this case, the long-term benefit would be to have a normal, reliable PC for years and just use the gaming PC occasionally, rather than using the gaming rig for everything.
That's a mistake I'll never make again. This Christmas, I'll add to my Wish List either a mid-range PC or mid-range Mac Mini. There's no point having the high-end specs if you won't use them to their fullest potential.
BTW I'm not quitting. Just having a crisis >~<
