Aye, though I've actually been curious about Surface tablets lately. How versatile are they for digital art?

I love mine! I didn't think I would, but 6 years ago, when I bought my first-gen model, I loved that one, too! There is a bit of a learning curve but you'll absolutely be thrilled after a month or so.

oof, been there, couple of times actually. Luckily I have an at home computer and a take it with me tablet. I'm not as up-to-date as I should be on file back ups.

At one time I had a flash drive in the back of the at home unit, I'd have the primary file on the tablet, saved to a flash, transferred to the home unit and saved to the second flash and finished PDFs of stories were uploaded to FA.

I had my primary writing file accidentally deleted taking 12 years worth of stories, so I got a bit paranoid abut back ups at one time. 80% of the file was available on an older computer and most of the remaining 20% had been printed out. The only thing I truly lost was a few stories I didn't care about.

It's in a better place. Or, rather, it's in the same place, but it has a big hole through it!
