Now it's Final for Joey to be re-homed.
I Tried for 4 years to make him accept the other cats that we have, Vicki and Mina.. But he did not.
he kept chasing and attacking after them, especially Vicki, And today there were actual damage done, that requires Vetenary care.
While we were at the store, Vicki got attacked/ chased with such a hurry and force that she is limping her left backpaw. Wish I knew if it were Joey or Mina..
Having appointment for her tomorrow. 9.30 am.
So.. now Mina (because she had started to adapt the bad behavior and attacks vicki few times a week) and Joey are upstairs in one bedroom. Litterbox, water, food, toys and scratchingpost, plus the binders are up from the windows. Planning to keep them separated at least for a week so Vicki can heal up.
Gonna be 100usd for the vet. Hopwfully not much more because I wont get money until after few months.
Wouldn't want Joey to go, but I don't want Vicki to suffer from him. Vicki is already 15 and she doesn't need to run for her life when we're not home.
After trying for 4 years, to make Joey social with them 2, he is not gonna. I don't have the strenghts to keep an eye on him 24/7 especially after my dialysis every other day...
I'm done.. He is going, for real this time... Gonna hurt, because even that i don't like his behavior towards Vicki, we still rescued him and cared for him for 4 years.. Only if he could've understand that he better behave...
We tried calming collar, not working.. spray bottle,, not working.. positive distraction and playing with him until he'd be tired... not working...
Separated in bedroom alone.. not working.. put in a cage.. nope... Not even bathroom...
Nothing works... I'm out of ideas and energy with Joey.

She been sleeping quite much trough this day, Most propably because she has some pains.
I hope she can get the pain eased up tomorrow. I don't have any pain medication that would be suitable for cats. Need to dig in on our savings for the vet visit.
