This happens more then enough times that I do have to post about it on twitter occasionally but.......please please please....if I can't take your commission for now..
PLEASE
Don't guilt me with it x.x All it does is just make me feel bad & I still have to turn your slot down anyway because I can't take in to many without being overwhelmed!
I do try to be fair by picking those who haven't gotten one and those who've been trying for a long time but in the end, I can only handle 5 at a time. RARELY an extra, but still, please don't make me feel even worse about having to turn your slot down x-x

On the other I'd feel real crumby too if someone even unintentionally made me feel bad by groaning about me not taking their idea on because I would get overwhelmed by the work load.
Pacing yourself as an artist in always important first- otherwise you'll never get to their idea anyway due to burn out!
