A question for all my watchers...
Okay, I guess it can be said that what I’m doing here is a little survey for all my “customers”. *Clicks pen and takes out notepad*
See, I was a little busy this Thanksgiving weekend, being down in the townships and visiting the family for all those fun and wacky things families tend to do when they get together… (i.e. Eating, drinking and being merry, with an emphasis on the second one) though I’d occasionally pop onto my Dad’s laptop and check my online messages. My dad has a dialup connection, and a laptop with a resolution of about 1024 by 768. While I was checking my stuff up here at FA and replying to a few comments, it occurred to me just how fuggin’ HUGE all my art submissions look at that resolution, and how damn long they take to display on that internet speed.
Now, as some of you may have heard ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1857192/ ) I have a pretty effin’ big monitor, at 22 inches and with a resolution of 1680 by 1050. And I have a spiffy high speed internet connection, so I’m pretty well-set. Having seen my stuff through the eyes of another monitor, however, and taking into account that there are some people out there who might know me as “that devilishly handsome, yet arrogant artist who never scales down his work” I just wanted to ask my general audience here what their monitor resolutions are at, so I can get a slightly better idea of how my shit looks to y’all.
Thanks! :D

FA+

PS: SWEET setup, my man! Hope that don't strain the eyes.
But I've never had any explicit problems viewing your work.

17.3 screen.
I lubs it so.
Thanks!
Wee.
32 inch screen
probaly far to close to my bed and not good for my eyes XD
Well, my eyes started to hurt a little when I first got this mother, too, but I guess they adjusted... hopefully for the better.
Not like when your body instinctively dulls your blinking reflex because you spent your entire childhood shoving shit in them, and then when that barrel of toxic waste suddenly spills out directly in your face... Dx
that sounds curiously detailed are you speaking from personal experience?
Laziness For th...(cant be bothered typing any more)
As long as you can see the pic'chers good, then I'm happy, though.
At first it was like woooooah, widescreen. Now I'm complaining that my monitor is too small.
:\
Well, the Christmas season... or the period where most major religions have their gift-giving holiday period is just around the corner, so you oughta know what to ask for now.
"Okay, that forty two incher? Too small. When I said I wanted the big stuff, I didn't mean this dinky show-room bullshit. I mean I want you to take me out back, call your rep, tell him to call HIS rep because he's got to talk to a guy that the first rep didn't earn enough to even know about, then have that guy drive down over to us in a hazmat-certified truck because the screen I he's brining to me is going to require a nuclear engine. It's going to block out the sun. People are going to see the stuff I'm looking up online from three blocks away. My user icon is going to be as wide as your car. Capiche?"
I find that 1024 is a good dimension for the longest side of most pictures
Wait... no, NO! Too much food! Oh, Gawd, look a me now!! I'm no longer devilishly handsome! I'm... I'm... *pinches at new paunch* I'm FAAAAAAATTT!!!
No, look away! Aaauuugh, damn you, Canadian Thanksgiving!!!
Eheh... thanks! *Hugs*
