New Site Look Complete
16 years ago
The new site look is complete. All the pages are in line and working and we've tested things. If you notice any little bugs we've missed, during your regular browsing, let me know either in a comment here, or in an email. So far the response is very positive. I have to answer some questions, though:
The WIP page is gone. I'm just going to put updates on what I'm doing every so often in Livejournal, which will show up as a news post on the website's home page. I don't have time to do New Worlds, so I'm not going to tease everyone by having links and banners to it sitting around, anymore. I apologize to all the fans of that comic, but I did mention this was the case several times in the past, when this redesign was being planned. The old "index.html" page is gone, so if you have that in your saved URL links, get rid of it and just go with jaynaylor.com or "index.php", if you must. If comic pages display with broken images in the older format, you probably still have cached information in your system. Hit refresh or control-f5, and things should show up properly.
The new site was done by my neighbor, who runs http://www.5thhubcap.com/ and he did a good job.

Any plans on putting Better Days into print? I'd love to get a physical copy. :)
I figure that would be a great way to support the artist and such. Maybe he's just worried about the cost and such? That can always be battled with a pre-order system. :)
Nice color and overall appearance;
It really looks good! Congrats on your neighbor on a fine job!
Just wondering if this is intentional or if it's supposed to stay the same as the other pages do?
Great look though :)
Not to shamelessly ask for information regarding future plot points, but will Beth be in Original Life?
I consider her character quite delightful.
A few people I know have expressed concern that you might dick up the old characters in the new series, as in making Original Life into more of a second iteration than a sequel.
I have a fair amount of confidence that this won't happen, though.
Insofar as one can be happy for a fictional character, I was pretty thrilled when she absconded with that cute D&D Hyena.
Hooray for eloping on a boat, right?
Good to know, though. I'll have to reread Better Days sometime.
Aron doesn't have spots. Aron has a long tail. Aron has a short muzzle.
I could easily throw in a comment about sloppy, thoughtless people... it wouldn't be ad hominem, because it's obviously relevant.
