And this basically goes for all of them after Modern Warfare 3, where even arguably that one was shit.
Multiplayer on the latest ones is absolutely crap. And the tick rate on the games are so low that half the time, it feels like you've been cheated out of a life because from your perspective, that dude you opened fire on first actually shot you first. When you have a tick rate of 12-20htz, that is NOT good. That is actually borderline garbage. In fact, that is completely unacceptable for a FPS that is as large as CoD. For ANY FPS actually.
Most FPS run at 30htz or higher. I think Battlefield (which I refuse to buy because that would support EA and I fucking hate EA with a passion that burns brighter than the sun) runs at like 60htz so while EA is a shitty company, at least their game actually fucking runs decently.
And yes I am aware that Activision is a shitty company. If I had it my way, Ubisoft, EA, and Activision would all fall apart and disappear into the wind. I do not like these companies. But SO fucking many of my friends do so I by peer pressure have to get at least one of these fucking companies games just so I have something to play with them.
But fuck me, man. I bought CoD: Modern Warfare. It WILL be the last one I ever play. This game is boring, manipulative, shitty, AND filled with microtransactions and other stupid ass, shady, or otherwise incompetent decisions.
