It breaks my heart. I got into 40K thanks to DoW 1 but the love of the lore was started by TTS.
This and seeing WoW go down......It's ripping me up inside to see it all happen ;_;
I had an eye on WH40K, but TTS made me love the GW Canon lore until it started repeating itself and ruthlessly depressing. TTS pointed out the fun in this often grievously flawed universe and kept me coming back... to a point I had to put some distance on it for my own creativity's sake.
Bruva Alfabusa said he is not taking down what has been down until GW or YT makes him take it down. But this is just another reminder of a lesson concerning "Star Trek: Axanar" because CBS (though weirdly not Paramount) has a similar issue with fan works as GW does now. That lesson being: "Don't pour your love and passions into a work that is not your own property, unless the property owner is giving you permission to do so. It is better to create your own thing then."
These companies are not going to be as forgiving as Star Wars has been.
