I just love the character, regardless which form he’s in. How could you not?

I really like all the forms! The half human one is quite nice. I really like characters that are part human and part beast as well. When they are designed right, they can look really nice. Such as how yours looks really nice!

Thanks for the comment, and I really appreciate that you think my character looks that good! I'm a sucker for half-human, eerie, brutish characters that are clearly exotic, dangerous, and supernatural, but still hold this relatable bit of humanity on them, among all the inhuman features :D

All his forms are great - you know I like characters with multiple forms. I’ve introduced a human form to a few of my characters, and they also have not been as well received. I chalked it up to this site, at its core, caters to the furry community and so humans (or half humans) are not that popular here.

I figure that Furaffinity is more pro-anthro than pro-kind-of-anthro, and I guess that makes sense, anyway. Have you had any better luck in other sites?

I think your favorite genre is were as I do, and many people forget that in that genre not everything is werewolf stuff, there is also the human factor, if not what is the point of the transformation?

I've fallen into that mistake too, I like the genre a lot but I prefer to only see werewolf stuff and not the rest of the genre and I feel it's important that there is a balance, but I also think it's hard to teach people about that and more so in this fandom in which most of them only have eyes for specific things... and that's sad.

Now to answer the question, half human Bentayga, that form I feel it brings out a lot of charisma, I hadn't noticed it before, I'm not good at explaining characters or personalities but I feel this form of Benta is more friendly in nature and not as intimidating as the other forms, he's someone you can get close to and talk to without fear of being torn to pieces xD.

I feel you can express more things with this Benta, and I would like to see more of him in the future ^^, I hope this comment is helpful, a big hug man! greetings! ^^

"Wer" means "man"!! It kinda tilts me that people have "werewolf" or "werejaguar" or "werewhatever" characters and don't give an ounce of thought to the human side- in some cases I've seen human not even existing in the setting at all! 😆 That's just a regular anthro, partner...

Tal vez me puedo expresar un poco mejor en español, se perfectamente que Benta tiene la misma personalidad en todas sus formas, siempre es él, pero cuando menciono lo del carisma, lo digo más por su lado humano, o almenos así lo comprendo yo, Benta en general es un personaje que trasmite mucho carisma, pero su forma sokto lo hace un poco más, cuando ves a Benta en sus otras formas, si te dejas llevar por la apariencia, pues es genial, es badass, es exotico en general porque es un big cat, pero también es intimidante, y eso lleva a tener algo de temor natural, y eso es normal en los were characters, son personajes miticos, espirituales, animales salvajes o lo que sea según su backstory, pero también son personas, y su forma sokto saca mucho de su lado humano, y eso es genial!

Y por eso lo de que te dije que poco a poco me esta gustando más su forma Sokto, como han dicho todos aqui, creo que en general todas las formas de Benta son geniales! es solo que algunas sacan algo más del personaje que otras ^^

Ademas, como te dije antes, Intentare a futuro hacer algo de justicia con tu forma humano y medio humano en algun giftart de regalo ^^, bueno quien sabe, también pudiera ser una comision 👀 xD, pero enserio, siento que el personaje en esas formas es muy cool ^^

I love Bentayga in all his forms, and I'm gonna fave him however he appears! That being said, I think crinos form is definitely his snazzyiest "outfit"! There just isn't much that can compete with a hulking, anthropomorphic sabertooth when it comes to cool! I expect part of the chillier reception to Benta's half human form is just because humans are subconsciously quicker to distrust another human face than that of an animal. It sounds strange, but just look at the number of animal mascots in the advertising industry. Plus, that trademark feline smirk of Benta's just works better on his cat face! 😼😸

I really appreciate, and it does calm me that some people like the character in all forms just as I do! Not just as a hunky bara saberdude, but as a character all-across forms that can also be a cat or a guy when needed.

The distrust side you mention is interesting, and it could be a factor indeed. I've often wondered if the half-human guy does fall into uncanny valley for many people, which could help explain things?

I think for me is the exotic of it, since it's like... human but also inhuman. I somehow feel very attracted to eerie, powerful characters like that, that are still humanly relatable but also clearly supernatural and cryptid.

But hey, a satyr (or catyr in my case 😸) is objectively sexy af, they've been the object of human sexual stories for centuries for a reason!

Hmm, if I were to say why, well I always like variety, it'd also probably be interesting to feel the difference from smooth skin to soft fur. He's also quite handsome in that form, it helps that I've recently found myself more interested in HumanxFurry stuff than I thought I'd be.

Glad you enjoy him! The difference from his two halves is something that indeed sounds lovely. From smooth tanned skin to velvety fur, in a soft transition.

Human x furry is sweet, and has very intense powerplay dinamics! It's of my favourites.

I like Benta's forms and I think it’s neat for werecreatures to have a human or half-human form that still has some level of their bestial side showing in their appearance. It's just nice to see somebody else utilizing that sort of concept and enjoying it as I do. My weredragon, Vén’drögh, plays with that idea as well as he still has some draconic characteristics present in his human form like some scales, sharp teeth and claws, ability to breathe fire, etc.

Agreed entirely! To have a different shape where you can still tell is the same person really gives a shapeshifter away, imo.

Your character does sound great and I'll go and take a look now! That makes for a much more interesting character design, in my opinion.

honestly as an artist, the only downside to human Benta is that his saber teefs are hard to fit into his mouth lol

I think under-appreciation of non-anthro OCs is just a feature of furaffinity being mostly anthro-centric! Benta's cool and cheeky in all his forms ^^

Hahaha, the saberteeth can be a headscratcher for sure. Sometimes 3D can help, but it's still a bit puzzling to figure out expressions just like that.

Oh, I hadn't noticed, it's really hard to make a human character have very long fangs without it looking weird, I got used to it a bit because I've drawn orcs and they have fangs that stick out from the jaw, or other examples like the Trolls from wow.

I adore Benta in all his forms.
But I have to admit, I think I enjoy his Sokto a bit more than the others actually. It’s just so lovely for so many reasons.

I think it may be the first or second time only I see someone prefering the Sokto to the Crinos, but I understand why! You have satyrs yourself (hell it was your own picture what started this line of thought) and you enjoy humanoids, so i can see why!
