Greetings all that will read this. I hope all of you are doing well!
I can't believe this is my second journal on this site O_O Like holy crap
With Artfight now drawing to a close I've been contemplating on my activity on all my social media. It's been an ongoing observation that I am on and off when producing art for you all to see. I come back for a bit only to disappear into the unknown for unreasonable amount of time and it's kind of annoying me just sitting here not doing anything or make content.
This year was my year to actually focus on my skills but life told me NO XD
I have a million projects collecting dust and I watch it pile up. And again it annoys the hell out of me.
Jokes aside. I want to get more active doing art but it’s a struggle as the little voice in the back of my head says otherwise. So I hope writing out my frustrations can actually kick my butt into gear and actually do some of those projects.
I've been thinking on starting back to the Basics. I think the reason I am less motivated in doing art is that I am out of touch with the basic skills in drawing(Studies, practicing daily etc.) and I can constantly see the flaws in my work that I know could be done better but can't physically grasp it. I believe I need a reset on my art direction. On my spare time, I've come to realized I've been watching many art tutorials and classes and gave me the motivation to actually finish Artfight strong this year. It actually helped me write out my thoughts that your seeing now. So For the rest of the year and onwards, I'll be practicing to better my art more and hopefully finish my projects I got lined up. Hopefully I don't give up halfway so pray for me!
With that, I also have something to give you all if you're interested. I've come to realize that I have a lot of Toyhouse codes… like A LOT (I have 247 codes invites… like what XD) I need to get rid of some
If you don’t know what Toyhouse is, it’s a character hoarding site y'all! Upload your characters and customize their profiles to your hearts content!(if you know how to code, if you don't, the site is still friendly and have tools and awesome coding community for you to setup your characters profiles as you please!)
