My first birthday

Today is my first birthday as Elizabeth. I feel like it's kind of a milestone. Like, being a woman every day has gotten completely normal for me and this birthday is no exception. It's just another thing I finally get to celebrate as my true self and it feels good. Happy birthday, Elizabeth.

i still do not... how to say... understand? i still don't understand.
there are many things i don't understand, but most i accept.
this one i can't as accepting it would contradict many others.
so i be here displeased of my situation and dumbfounded, or so i think. i frankly do not know.
why does everyone seem to understand? am i even human?
