Help⚠️critique on Commissions+Prices
Hello my dears,
There will soon be a lot of opportunities to get a commission slot, if you should want it.
I came to the conclusion that my current job is not something i want to pursue, the over 1h one-way commute daily, low pay, barest minimum of vacation time, then vacation being a stand-by+be-reachable-at-all-times situation, the chaotic management, the unreasonable leadership. No room for critique nor improvement.
I got a lot of promises when i started there 5 years ago, and none (!) NONE of them came true thus far. And i'm tired of waiting and getting exploited. So, so tired. I knew i was underselling myself in the beginning, my employment was actually borderline illegal. I was made to lie on official papers regarding my working hours. Sugar-coating this was just a temporary situation. I should have put my food down right then and there. My self worth was low, went down even more, by a lot. By the end of 2019 i was a miserable mess. The past two, very pandemic, years have been an improvement. Which is weird to think about, there is something clearly wrong here.
I was a fool, maybe i will stay a fool. Only future will tell. But one thing is certain, i will quit this shit. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Therefore, i would love some critique on my work-quality and price ratio i have set up atm, i'd love to know if YOU think this is adequate or not and why? Feel free to comment or DM.
Thank you!

I think your art and prices are more than adequate for your quality, and ultimately you can do sales if things aren't moving as quickly, or pause commissions if it's getting too busy. As long as you're comfortable with what you're charging, it's good.
and again, this could be used as a preview, a sort of 'pay half now for the sketch, then the other half for the full' deal, for folks like me who are very particular and might be nervous about jumping into something in the triple digits right away.
i'm the same way with wips- my characters are very unique, they don't fit into a generic furry form, so i'm always worried about how the final piece will turn out. every artist tackles them VERY differently, and often miss a lot of details, so if i don't get shown wips during the commission process, i'm almost guaranteed to be unhappy with the final result. and when a good fullbody costs over 100$, i'm not willing to risk it! i've commissioned a lot of different artists, and while most have been nice about it and show wips to make sure i'm happy, i've also had ones with a very dismissive attitude who would charge substantial extras just to have my anatomy corrected to look the way it is on my reference sheet :/ nice to know you seem to be one of the ones who cares!
I'd be willing to order an Experimental.
