People who get off on self-flagellation and humiliation are pathetic and awful, especially how it spills over into their other behavior and how they insist on seeing the whole world through their lens. It so often stems from self-hate, and these people who hate themselves invariably project it onto others. This is the most worst type of person. If you hate yourself, how can you expect anyone else to tolerate you, let alone like you?
