Finally, some good fucking news!

After five years of extremely intensive therapy, I have been officially been declassified as an end-stage needlephobe-- the final hurdle to me undergoing Hormone Replacement Therapy.

I am overwhelmingly excited to announce that I have successfully completed the blood test required to begin taking testosterone and will be starting my physical transition!

No set start date yet, but I should get a callback soon to go over my results, the instructions, and pick up my prescription.

It keeps hitting me in waves... The sheer euphoria, y'all...

Gonna get me a mustache c:

Congratulations! I have friends who have made the transition (M2F and F2M) and it has been a joy to see them just blossom and take themselves to the next level as they accomplished their goal.

Yessss congrats my dude! That’s so awesome! I’m a struggling needlephobe myself and have been working on it via body modifications (piercings,tattoos,etc). I still can’t look at a needle without getting light headed but I do pretty well with the feeling these days.

I’m so glad you were able to overcome that last hurdle and you have so much to look forward to! It only gets better from here <3

Thank you! Yeah, immersion therapy really is the only way through it. And you don't need to be able to look at or handle needles, only let someone stick it in! Good on you for working on yours too; I was an end-stage needlephobe unable to get ANY medical treatment that involved needles, so it's definitely one of those phobias that's super important to overcome. It's just nice when you have a good thing like HRT to look forward to when you overcome it! : D

Yesss! Looking forward to a new piercing was my inspiration for getting through it, I'm so glad you have HRT to look forward to too! You're gonna have to show us that dope mustache when it cultivates~
