Landscape commissions OPEN
Hey everyone!
As I am trying to make the next step in my art career and find a a studio job, something that I have to do is really focus my attention to one kind of work, perfect it and hope it will be enough to get me through the doors.
That's why now and moving forward, I am available only for landscape/scenery commissions.
Starting price is 520EUR but if you want to challenge me with something very epic and ambitious, I'm all in on that but it will require a bonus on the budget.
I hope to have the honor of creating amazing worlds with some of you soon!

Maybe I will be in a proper place finantially whenever you open them again 😍
Also you're ambitious charging that much in a community that historically has few clients willing, and more importantly able, to pay those prices. They do exist though, and I hope you're able to quickly find clients at your new price. <3
As for landscape commissions, they are my second job so 1 a month is great, 2 is awesome. I don't need a lot, just the select few who really enjoy my art. As for the prices, I guess previous clients found them fair, and I can't stress that enough, I really really work for it.
If you're only putting in the landscape art, you're getting less interviews because you're not showing the right work. Concept art is about doing a lot of detailed thumbnails or color comps in 40 hours rather than a single illustration.
I wasn't saying you were charging too much! XD My prices are half of yours' but that's only because I've not been able to consistently put out work due to medical issues. I'd be charging $600 or more, too, if I'd been able to do art with any consistency for the past 5-10 years. I'm just now able to get back into working at something resembling a standard pace for a professional.
It's very clear to me how much work you put into each piece, both from just looking at it, and from being an artist myself. I know exactly how much work goes into your landscape pieces. I more meant that this community is, it can be difficult to regularly find clients at that price without having put years into building your audience. If you're having that kind of success, I'm happy for you, and I hope it continues!
It doesn't help that the only way to openly sell on here is through your own gallery work. Or buying banner ads. There's ways around it, certainly, but running a business on this platform isn't the easiest thing to do.
You have me curious now though, who was the artist you're referring to? I can think of a few it might've been. You're welcome to PM me if you don't want to say the name in the comments here.
That is absolutely the reason for the demand....and arguably the high end of the price range. I took a 2D animation class in college and loved it immensely.
There's no way I would do it as a main source of income though. It takes so much time to do it well. There's a reason Disney stopped making 2D animated films (sadly. it's not like every 3D movie they make couldn't pay for the 2D films' production twice over ). I've thought about getting back into it once my eyes clear up and I can work FT again, but there's a reason it's rare to see people who do 2D aniamtion.
You can send me a note or join me on discord ( AnthonyAvon#2424 ) where all my clients and patrons share a sever and get access to early previews, sketches...
