August 26, I move into an apartment with my best friend as my roommate. This will be my first ever move away from home, and I'll finally be doing college courses in person. It was a real shit show last year doing it online, so hopefully, things will be better
It'll also pretty much mean I can't write anymore, though I've been writing a lot, I haven't managed to actually finish much. I'm taking 6 classes so wish me luck. Actually, pray for me xD

And don't worry much on the writing! Focus on the classes first..
you'll very possibly want to make sure that your income is divided up between three main places. spending money, bills money, and saving money. how ever mucj you put in each is up to you but you will want to nail that down and build that habit.
speak with your landlord (or who ever opporates the building) and ask for a copy of the rules and lease (paper work you sign thay states you will be living there and how much per month it will cost) this way you are aware od the do's and dont's of the building and what you are required to do. (my own run ins with people trying to change terms on the lease wasn't fun)
make sure your name is on the paper work with where ever you are living and that the staff of the building are aware of your name being on the paperwork. I hope it never happens to you, fall outs happen, things go bad stuff goes wrong all the time. and making sure that you are protected before hand help your weather things if anything goes wrong.
Finally, be curious and ask questions. it doesn't hurt to be informed of your rights and what to do if things go weird (like the fridge breaks or something). and make sure to write it down so that you can refference it later.
