Query regarding snails

My mailbox is a popular place for snails to congregate, being plastic and sweats a lot. Last week, I found over 20 of them in an area sheltered from the weather. A few days later, my sister found them and scraped them off the mailbox. Please let me know if they're going to be okay > <
As long as she put them in the shade, they should be ok. o:
