Reporting on the day I saw the tweets, not when they were made
Aug 12; Megaplex's sad and poorly written statement makes me wish for better convention rules and regulations.
I typed up a better apology.

Maybe don't blame sexual assault victims. Fire whoever wrote this and retype up a new one.

But this doesn't change much, as it still implies they did nothing before 2021.

Aug 14; well I did some digging, turns out the most well known furry con to ban people like this was in 2018. It might've not been the first to do so, but seems to be credited with such an honor despite FurCons existing since before 1999.
Interesting. Maybe this is due to people more worried about hate speech (due to NaziFurs {about]2005-2017 and multiple articles) then pedophiles.
Title changed from #MegaplexDoBetter to #FurConsDoBetter to reflect that cons should've removed pedophiles before getting around to hate speech concerns.
