So on Aug 5th I was scammed, and now my bank has decided it can't/won't help me. As a result I made a GoFundMe to try and recover.
Long story short I was scammed by someone pretending to be Steam staff, hijacked my account, then essentially held it for ransom, all while saying "don't worry, your money will be refunded in the end."
