Moonlight Pack

Territory:
Moonlight Pack is located in Yellowstone State Park. When role playing, any animal and/or plants mentioned should be native from that location to follow a realistic expectation.
Origin:
When Nora and Moon were still pups a fire overtook their homes. Through the flames and smoke, they cried for their parents, but were instead found by a wolf named Eclipse. When the fire died, their new mother raised them like they were her own. As they grew up during their travels, they were joined by other orphans and became known as the Moonlight pack. Most of the territory around them was taken by much larger packs, so they usually snuck around at night stealing scraps from neighboring packs when hungry. The members mostly consisted of black and dark gray individuals so they were well camouflaged at night making them almost entirely nocturnal. For a long time this provided safety, however, one summer was hotter than the rest. Drought came and prey declined. Every pack nearby was affected making it harder to steal, forcing the Moonlight pack to hunt during the day. They were invaded by the Stonewood pack (the largest pack at the time) and a huge fight broke out. The Moonlight Pack was quickly overpowered. Eclipse bowed her head before the other alpha and begged for her pack to be spared. She asked for their packs to be combined under his rule, but he declined. Eclipse's throat was ripped in seconds, and a new found furious rage washed over the Moonlight pack like never before. With their rage they pushed back the opposing pack, and after a long battle, Nora gave the final blow. When it was over Nora returned to Eclipse's side. With her dying breath, Eclipse told everyone how proud she was and proclaimed Nora the new alpha.
Laws of the pack:
- Alpha's word is law
- Members eat in order of rank
- Pack members can't leave territory unless given permission
- The alpha will unite official mates. Same sex couples and poly is allowed
- Mates must be within the pack.
Ranks:
Alpha: Serves as the leader and protector of the pack
Beta: Second in comment
Medic: Studies herbs (No magical herbs)
Border control: Watches and marks edges of territory
Hunters: Keeps up with prey population and does most of the hunting
Nanies: Help raise young and watches over the old
Omega: Those with no task

Medic: Shadow
