I tend to find most of the artists that I watch through commission submissions that link back to either the artist or the commission, and through the favorites list of artists and commissioners. It's a very deep rabbit hole at times XD

That is honestly very relatable, I find a lot of people through the FA ads (FA is the only site I disable adblock) and by checking commission art and who made them. It can indeed go really crazy x3

and then a goand see what THEY like/faves...

I do that a lot as well, sometimes also when someone favorites my work I also go and check what else they are faving, but before I try to leave a thank you message if they didn't say on their page that they dont like it =3

I don't exactly how I came to give you a watch. However, most of the time, I'll use the ''Browse'' tool looking especially for Traditional Art. When a piece caught my eye, I'll go check the artist, browse the gallery and give a watch if I see at least 1 piece from the artist I like.

It is curious because in my almost 7 years in FA I don't recall ever using the Browse tool, all the people I found here was through checking the FA ads and by looking at other people's favorites ^^

I'm not sure. There might be a mix of both.

IIRC it may have been by browsing the favorites of somebody else I was watching, or by the recommendation of same, or perhaps I just ran across a comment you made, was intrigued by what you said and/or your icon, leading me to click to your gallery. Regardless of how, I've no regrets of doing so!

I also like to see who wacthed or faved, and look at their page and faves. and sometimes I click the back-button right away. XD

I'm sure I was similar to most here, I don't recall exactly. But I'm fairly sure it probably was a favorite of someone else I watched, or it was a "hey check out this artist" type of referral.
Certainly glad I did follow the suggestion. Your art is (and continues to be) amazing. :)

I have to say the thought of someone going "hey check out this artist" is quite flaterring ^.^ Honestly, I feel like I still have so much to learn, but seeing people who like the stuff I'm doing even though I'm not on the level I want is really motivating ^^

Fave hopping is a fun way to say it, every now and then I take some time to do that, it is such a great way to find new people ^.^

If I recall correctly, you actually found me a few years back over on DeviantArt, probably through one of the groups I posted to occasionally (it still messes with me a bit when truly talented artists decide to follow me and my repetitive cartoon doodles tbh, especially given some of the subject matter I draw).

As for how I found you *here*, I'm pretty sure I just found a link to your FA gallery on your DA page when I was going through everyone I followed there to see if they had accounts here as well.

It seems I'm following you on Weasyl as well, although you haven't been active there in a while. I kinda wish that site was more active as I think it's a very nice "secondary" site to use.

Believe me, I really like how consistent your works are, your style is extremely well defined, if you ever feel like pursuing animation, I think you could end up with a pretty interesting cartoon. Don't diminish your efforts, you are doing well =3

Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoy the style I've been developing, I try to distance myself a bit from idealistic forms in order to draw them in a more organic and natural way. This probably goes a bit against the current trends but I'm happy that there are people who appreciate what I'm trying to do ^^

Haha, didn't expect that to be what the raccoon was looking at but it fits! For a small doodle it made for a really nice avatar.
