Species Info - Asheari

General
(This is a rough description I will be working on more and expanding since I would love to end up with a really detailed bio)
Basics:
At first glance you can see the Asheari closely resemble a feline, their facial characteristics and paws are very similar right down to the fangs and claws. Having two sets of independently moving ears, with the upper set being slightly larger they have a full 360 degree hearing range and are almost impossible to sneak up on. Very quick and agile they use their long prehensile tails for balance as well as to help defend themselves if attacked.
Habitat:
Asheari, being very adaptable can be found in all types of climates running in small clans with their fur patterns being almost tribal with only slight variations, but having a large variety of colors. They tend to keep to themselves rarely taking a mate outside of their group or species.
Religion:
Asheari worship the moon, serving the goddess (name). On the rare occasion an albino offspring is born into a clan they are considered "touched by the moon" and treated as divine.
Known clans so far: Forest, Mountain, Desert, Arctic, Jungle, Wild, Lunar, Nocturnal and there have been reports of a rare underwater tribe.
Nocturnals: Living mostly underground and being active at night and sleeping during the day this clan carries predominately dark colored fur with luminescent markings that serve a few purposes for their survival. When threatened these markings glow a bright red intended to help scare off any predator, however during mating when an Asheari comes into season the natural color of their markings become more intense to attract a suitable mate. Nocturnals tend to have poor eyesight relying more on sound, but the soft glow from their markings does help them see and maneuver through the tunnels of their underground homes.

I hope you continue expanding on this. I love the concept behind them and I want to know more about the different clans!
