Greetings friendly dergs!

Welcome to the Friendly Dragons group. Just when you thought that all dragons were this big mean ol beast that hates everyone, there's always ones who are like us who are like puppies.
So, I must say that even though we are nice, it doesn't mean that we don't at times get angry, or grumpy, or sometimes sad or depressed. No creature is ever perfect. We aren't perfect at all, but us nice dragons have a greater weight of being calm, and we know what is right from wrong.
So my next question is, what were your inspirations that led you to an alternative interpretation that some dragons were nice? Mine would have to be Draco from Dragonheart.

Draco from Dragonheart? Cool, I've never seen that before, but I'll check it out. My inspiration, on the other claw, I can't recall exaclty. Maybe it was those medieval paintings of knights slaying dragons. While looking at those I would think, "Aw, poor thing. That dragon looks pretty cute." Maybe I should give dragons a chance.
Then, that probably inspired me to make my own dragon character. His personality was very sad and weak, and when I drew him crying, it really hit me since dragons are these powerful, intimidating creatures. Thus, a huge contrast. In turn, it made me think dragons have feelings too. And finally, it evolved to the friendly dragon scalesona I have now, and I'm so happy to choose that species among all others.
Who wouldn't be thought of as Fierce and destructive when they must constantly be watchful of those who wish nothing more than their head's mounted above a fireplace? Even the cutest of bunnies can become a fearsome foe if hunted for too long.
DARGON or Dar for short came about out of my love for Dragon's and what they Truly represent which is peace, love and forgiveness.
Dargon literally embodies who I am, kind Loving and very friendly yet often misunderstood.
