1 Problem solved - 1 new problem ...

Ok First of all my PC is running again since about a week or so, which is great.
But it seems like my harddrive haven't survived without any damage.
Everytime i tried to install Photoshop i got a Bluescreen which told me something is wrong with my harddrive.
I checked it with some programs and everything seems to be fine.
Untill now i could install everything: games, applications and drivers for other hardware but only Photoshop is making problems.
After about 5 days of struggeling i finally got Photoshop to work, it is slow as hell but it works!
But without my Wacom i can't do anything with Photoshop, so i tried to install the driver for it today.
And Woho! ...Bluescreen again...
Slowly this is getting a little frustrating i still got some ideas left but it will take some time...

Firt of all, get the iso image from here: http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download
If you need more information about anything just take a look here: http://www.ubuntu.com/products/What.....desktopedition
The burn a CD with it and set up your BIOS to start from CD. If you don't know how to do this search on the internets, there are loads of information about that. Most of the computers have a note at the start up such as "Press F5 to enter SetUp", that's the BIOS and from there it has to be a folder/option such as "Start up from:" and the physical units from where the computer loads the data. Change that to use the CD as the default database and restart using it. Use the mode live-CD to try Ubuntu without changing any hardrive information.
Once you're alright with it click at System>Administration<USB startup disk creator or sthing like that, insert a pendrive with about 2 GB or more and load the program so you can use your computer from there. Once done shut down, restart and change the BIOS again to start up from the USB.
If you have your current OS system CD I would try installing Linux and see if I get any errors. If you do so, use the pendrive whenever you want to use the PC. If you don't, congrats
Oh well all this supposing you don't know anything about computers. If you do this was a complete waste of time for me.
Thank you for the help :)
If my other solutions fail i will definately try this one!
So thank you again!
Atleast now i know for sure that my harddrive is damaged, but help is on the way, i am already preparing to get a new computer as soon as possible. Untill then i have to draw without computer =(
