Finmer - vore text adventure game - goes OPEN SOURCE!

General
Hey everyone!
I have a somewhat special announcement to make: Finmer, my interactive vore text adventure, has gone open-source on GitHub: https://github.com/pileofwolves/finmer !
This is a big deal for me because I've been working on this project for ages. Only recently has it really started growing in terms of code quality and maintainability, but also the number of people who've given it a try. Your support means the world to me, thank you so much for playing and leaving your thoughts. <3
What does this mean?
I have published the source code for Finmer: the files that make up the project. Anyone can get a copy of the game and the editor, make any modifications they wish, and may send them back to me or redistribute them on their own if they so choose (under a few simple restrictions).
The repository lives on GitHub, over here: https://github.com/pileofwolves/finmer
There's a ton of work that needs to be done still, it's definitely 'alpha-stage' material at this point with how much I've been changing and rewriting lately, but the project has been improving a lot over these past months and I now feel more comfortable sharing it. I sincerely hope it will be of use and/or interest to someone~!
Can I contribute?
Yes! The game is written in C# and Lua; I'm open to pull requests! Please take a peek at the contributing guidelines in the repository for details.
If you're not all that familiar with code, not to worry. Even if this announcement is more on tech-y side of things, you can still contribute by reporting bugs/issues/suggestions there as well using GitHub's Issues system if you like (or send me a note on FA with your thoughts, also welcomed). And by playing, of course, yes yes.
Is this an update for the game?
No, sorry, not yet :( However, I've been working on a lot of improvements, including a much better combat system, full-blown mod support, more character customizations and (of course) more content; I hope I'll be able to share them with everyone soon-ish(TM).
Thank you as ever for your support, have a wonderfur day <3

Your Finmer game has got to be one of my top-most text adventure projects I enjoyed; it's well written and has all the marks I like in a vore adventure. And the idea that this can become a program to make my own games is tantalizing. The UI is clean and has what a lot of people look for in their game ideas (inventory, battle system, etc.). I like Quest myself, but a sizeable roadblock with it is that you have to have the program to play any of its games (who even tries playing on the website?). I wish to post my potential text games on itch or gamejolt or my own website. So consider this me 'being heard' to keep up with the editor. :P
Another idea is to maybe make video tutorials, at least showing the setup of a furball. Video tutorials help me, and many others I'm sure.
This is so cool to see happen. Thank you once again!
I was indeed hoping that over time, it would entice others to try their paw at putting together some content. There's still a long ways to go with features that need repairing and adding, but we start somewhere~
I'll keep those ideas in mind.~ While I don't currently have any plans to make the game work in a browser - so people would still have to separately download the game, in addition to your customized furball file(s) - there are still many ease-of-use improvements in and around the editor that I'd like to implement.
