Well you can't exactly force people to comment on your stuff. Not everyone is going to have something to say.

I mean, it's not so much a harsh truth as obvious reality to be honest. I look at a lot of stuff on FA but feel no need or purpose to comment on everything I see or find.

Probably for the best honestly, my notification bar is already a cluttered mess, I can't imagine the horror if i was flooded with comments every small thing i did xD

Even if you were 'popular' as you call it, your view/comment/fav ratio would still be nowhere close to being on equal par. I follow and watch big artists and the views ALWAYS outclass the favs and comments combined ten-to-one.

I've been on FA for years now and I noticed that the notice really depends on what you draw, not as much how good is your art etc. I feel like more extreme fetishes get far more views, but after having tried that, I wasn't really happy with the "fame". Now I post whatever makes me happy, and while I get only comments from friends (with occasionally new friends), I feel much better about my art ^^ It's not about the numbers, it's more about finding some quality friends to share your art with!

(Usually when I draw extreme fetish pictures, they get like over 50 favorites, and the cute stuff I want to draw gets barely 10 faves)

Good luck with your journey! I think as long as you're happy going the art you do, it'll be great ^^ I've seen some people who do insane art getting only couple of views and some that do stick figures getting all the fame - it's all very confusing, and I think it's the best to focus on being happy what you do rather than trying to please others.
