__ __ _ _____________________________________________________ _ __ __ Hey, haven't exactly done a journal in a while, nor really adressed a lot of things that go on. I don't want to go into too many personal details, but just so everyone knows a little about what's up.
Recent months haven't been easy, life's a rollercoaster with lots of ups and downs. And this year in perticular threw quite a lot of challenges that are difficult to deal with, mentally and financially.
The financial situation could be somewhat helped if I could provide more opportunities for commissioning me or YCH's and believe me, I so would love to do that. Drawing for others or just bringing YCH ideas to life is something really fun, especially thanks to all you kind fluffs supporting me.
However, all things going on otherwise take a bit of a hit to my mental capacity to actually create art. High self criticism of my art aside, there's just a general lack of inspiration, motivation and focus, making it hard to get anything done. Art takes me an incredible amount of time these days and often ends in staring at an empty canvas for three hours straight cause I just can't figure out something as simple as a pose or where to start. Once I figure something out that's really fun it works okay, but anything else just takes really long, which shouldn't be the case I feel.
TLDR: Life's a rollercoaster and stuff that happens make it really difficult to focus on the creative process of arting things.
Thank you if you read the entire thing. I'm not usually like this and certainly don't feel all too comfy sharing some personal stuff, even if it's vague. I just thought I'd plop some stuff down here for everyone to get a little info on just what has been going on with me being absent a lot this year when it comes to art creation, commissions and the like.
To close this I want to thank those who have interest in commissioning me for being patient. I'll try to open up commissions or ease into things with YCHs sometime soonish. Least that's the plan. If there's any things in perticular you'd want to see, please feel free to suggest stuff, though please keep it SFW.
Further I want to announce that I might raise my commission prices a little bit. The amount of time and effort I put into a single piece of art has gone up significantly, so I feel that would only be fair. Yet in all honesty I'm also afraid it might make commissioning me a bit less appealing heh. So yeahh.
